General donations of all amounts are welcomed and will be used to cover administrative and overhead costs for fundraising events. Any surplus amounts will be put towards funds raised for initiatives and projects. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations of $10 or more and will be issued no later than February 28 the year following the donation.

If you wish to become a member of Barristers for a Better Bytown and meet the following criteria, please either:
Membership Requirements
1. Are an L1 Licensee (lawyer) in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, or be a sitting or retired Judge;
2. Submit a completed Membership Application Form to the Board of Directors;
3. Donate a $100 membership fee. Membership will renew each year upon payment of the annual membership fee. Annual membership fees of $100 are due each October thereafter to maintain membership. Members who join mid-year can request to have their first membership fee prorated. Tax receipts will be issued by February 28 for the preceding year.
